Adopt a Lapin Cherry Tree in our orchard today.

Adopt a full-sized Lapin cherry tree and enjoy the experience of harvesting your very own cherries. Nothing embodies summer in Australia quite like a bowl overflowing with large, dark-red cherries that have golden-red flesh and a luscious, sweet flavor! Lapin cherries are naturally larger than many other varieties, providing sumptuous dark-red fruits with a satisfying crunch and incredible sweetness.

Hand-pick your cherries

During the harvest at the end of the year, you can visit the orchard and handpick amazing cherries from your tree to enjoy. A tree in Orange can yield approximately 15-20 kg of cherries.

They are delicious when eaten fresh off the tree, with the harvest starting in early to mid-December, peaking around Christmas, and concluding in early to mid-January. You will also receive updates on the growth stages of your tree leading up to the harvest.

Our varieties?

What are the differences between the varieties?

We grow five different cherry varieties on our orchard: Lapins,
Kordia, Sweetheart, Regina and Simone
. Each variety has its own unique
flavour, texture and colour, and each one ripens at a different time throughout
the season.

While weather ultimately determines when each variety is
ready
, the timeline shown reflects a typical year.

What does “Adopt a Tree” mean?

What does “Adopt a Tree” mean?

(From your cherry tree…)

Hello! When you adopt me, I become your cherry tree —
and you’re welcome to visit me through all four seasons.

  • In spring, I burst into blossom. Bring a picnic and sit with me while my
    flowers dance in the breeze.
  • In summer, I’m busy growing sweet, juicy cherries for you to enjoy.
  • In autumn, my leaves turn a beautiful golden colour.
  • In winter, I look a bit bare and boring, but that’s when I rest and get pruned, ready for a fresh new season.

You can visit me up to four times a year if you like.

Look for your name on my plaque — that’s how you’ll know which tree I
am!

I can’t wait to meet you.

Can I adopt a tree as a gift for someone else?

Absolutely! Our Tree Adoptions make wonderfully thoughtful gifts — especially for birthdays, grandparents, anniversaries, and even client or employee appreciation.

It’s a unique experience that lasts all year, and your recipient can visit their tree through the seasons and enjoy the magic of the orchard.

How much fruit will you guarantee me?

(From your cherry tree…)

I wish I could promise you a perfect crop every year… but I can’t. The weather is my boss, and sometimes one big storm or a night of heavy rain can split my fruit and ruin my whole crop overnight.

If that ever happens and I can’t grow your cherries, don’t worry — you’ll receive a full credit for the following season so we can try again together.

That’s the life my farmers live with every day. Growing cherries is magical, but Mother Nature always has the final say.
